1. What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?
As a child - a person in my class asked me a question about a friend of mine. I was afraid to answer honestly (difficult to explain why) so I made something up. Turned out the friend was put behind me on purpose and it was horrible. I had always been honest - but the person who asked had been teasing me horribly all year and it was ... well like I said ... horrible.

2. What's your favorite local gay bar? (Give us the bar name and the city and state)
The closest gay bar is Paddy's (Ventura, CA) and it seems like a lot of fun - but I haven't been to any bar in such a long time that I've never gone. I will go. Yes I will.

3. What's your favorite LGBTQ-themed book?
This is the easiest question yet. "Always" by Nicola Griffiths.

4. What's your favorite reality TV show?
Well - I'm not really into the hard core reality tv shows - but I iike "Project Runway" because I like to create with my hands and I like to see what the designers come up with.

5. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Well I have some friends I would like to see - but if anywhere ??? I've always wanted to know if I still have family in Russia and I if I do I would like to go there and meet them and find out more about my heritage. (Also Israel, maybe a cruise to Alaska)
1. talkimg to my boss with my pants unzipped. 2. Rendevzous 702 monthly Chill & Grove... rendevzous702@yahoo.com. 3. Any thing by Cheril N. Clarke, Laurinda D. Brown, or The Lesbian Goddess. 4. Heros, So You Think You Can Dance. 5. Africa
1. I am a poly bisexual nudist. I don't embarrass easily, and can't really think of anything that I was very embarrassed about.
2. I've never been to a gay bar. Hell, I haven't been to many straight bars either. I'm not much of a people person and prefer quiet meetings instead. Besides, the only gay bar here (Michael's?) closed before I even found out about it.
3. I liked "Gossamer Axe," a book about a lesbian druid. But I think I like "The Leather Daddy & The Femme" better.
4. Hell's Kitchen, hands down. The only other one I ever watched regularly was the horror one from a while back. I forget the name of it.
5. I would go back to Japan, taking my wife there to show her where I had my high school years.
1) I don't get embarrassed easily ;-) Though in 1st grade I was reading to the class and had to go the bathroom really badly, but wanted to get through the book. I didn't quite make it and was quite humiliated to be standing in front of the classroom as I wet my pants.
2) Le Drugstore, Montreal, Quebec
3) Rubyfruit Jungle, Rita Mae Brown - as a former HS teacher I had to keep buying new copies of this book b/c I would lend it to a student and never get it back. It would get passed around the school, so I felt it was a small price to spread the love.
4) The Amazing Race & So you think you can dance
5) TAHITI!!! I went there on my honeymoon 3 years ago and would love, love, LOVE to go back.
1. New on the job, wasted at staff holiday party, lost purse... *can you say walk of shame?*

2. Stattlers, Toronto, ON

3. Fingersmith by Sarah Waters

4. The Amazing Race

5. RV across Canada from Toronto to Victoria, down the Pacific Coast all the way to Tierra del Fuego, back up the Atlantic coast all the way up to Newfoundland and cross Canada back to Toronto. -well that's the dream!
1. I projectile vomited at a Village Inn in Denver...

2. Joie de Vine in Chicago, IL (Andersonville...I heart Sandy & Lori)

3. "Sexy Origins and Intimate Things"...it isn't entirely queer, but it does have a lot of interesting facts about everything from stiletto heels, to the origin of the word "fuck", to the three (confirmed) Catholic popes...very good read...

4. Either "Axmen" or "Ice Road Truckers"...does "Drawn Together" count?

5. Liverpool, England
