This is my 15month old Granddaughter playing with her Mattie and her Hallowen costume, my Little fairy.
Haylees' mom is the daughter of my partner of 14 years'whom passed away in 2002. Yes her biological kids and grandkids are still a very important part of my life, Just wanted to share this for all of the gay couples who long ago shared their lives openly with their children, to try to tell this generation the importance of commitment. Marriage is a sacred agreement between two people who are commited to each other for better or worse sickness and in health till death you do part. Not a politacal game, but an important battle which , I pray is won in my life time and I'm 56 now. When Lory and I made our commitment to each other in 1988, we did it in private but in reverance and a prayer to bless our union of hearts and souls, and it was , until she was called back to heaven.
In this Holiday season may you all be blessed. Remember to tell those you Love that you appriciate them and Love them every day because you never know if that moment will be your last moment shared in Love. Marie Dec 8, 2008
